The 3 Star Whitewater Kayak Award is a discipline specific award that introduces the skills you need to get a good head start in white water kayaking. The award requires you to paddle competently as part of a group on open water and moving water (up to grade II).  This includes having group awareness skills to contribute to the smooth running of such a journey.
